A Home Away From Home

We understand that leaving your pet when you go out of town can be stressful, especially if they are sick or recovering from a procedure or surgery. We want to put your mind at ease at Critter Creek Veterinary Hospital.

We offer complete general boarding services to all of our patients, as well as medical boarding for pets with medical conditions that standard boarding facilities may not be able to handle.

Pet Boarding in Lincoln | Lincoln Dog & Cat Boarding

Boarding: A Typical Day

Dogs

Before breakfast, the dogs go outside to our outdoor run for some fresh air. Their kennels are cleaned, disinfected, and restocked with fresh linens while they are outside.

We walk the dogs who stay with us regularly, depending on their physical capacity and ability.

Your dog will be supervised throughout his or her stay with us, both on walks and when they are resting. Dinner is served in the evening, and then we go for one last walk before bedtime.

Cats

Your cat will be fed according to your instructions and their needs, ensuring that they follow the same routine as they do at home.

We provide daily one-on-one interaction with kitties, including play, snuggles, and pets (if they want it!). Throughout the day, litter boxes are checked, cleaned, and disinfected.

We also change the linens and clean your cat's room daily. Our cat boarding area is separated from the dog boarding area to ensure that your kitty is comfortable and safe while staying with us.

Medical Boarding in Lincoln

Our expert veterinarians and nurses will look after your pet and administer medications while keeping a close eye on them. Any medications that your pet requires will be given to them on the same schedule that they are used to at home.
